台北市長柯文哲今天在首爾參訪，大批台灣媒體緊盯報導，在參觀首爾清溪川時，柯文哲接受訪問提到台北市瑠公圳，媒體記者追問是否會拆掉部分瑠公圳上的新生高架道路時，柯文哲說「費用太高，目前不會考慮」。
台北市政府發言人林鶴明今天澄清指出，台北市政府從來没說過要拆除新生高架道路。
林鶴明表示，台北市政府過去從來没有說一句要拆除新生高架道路的話，當然，如果拆掉新生高，產生許多新的建設資源固然很好，但這需要大量資金，台北市政府目前没有編列相關預算，更重要的是，要獲得當地居民的同意。
